The 3.0-liter, six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine provides an impressive 440 horsepower. 2020 F-150 pickups equipped with the diesel version have an EPA rating of 22 mpg/30 mpg in two-wheel drive and capably tow up to 11,500 pounds.

All of the pickup powertrains may include the optional four-wheel drive. But, depending on the configuration and size of the pickup's engine, fuel-efficiency may be dramatically reduced.

Safety

The 2020 F-150 comes standard with forward-collision and automatic emergency braking. Optional features, which may come standard on different trim levels, include blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, automatic high beam headlights and inflatable rear seatbelts. The Ford Co-Pilot 360 package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping alert and assistance in addition to pedestrian detection.
