President/General Manager Duane Pratt has been with Fritts Ford for over 42 years and he has had many roles. Duane is a third generation Riversider and he began his career in the service department at Fritts Ford after serving in Vietnam in the Navy. Mr. Pratt worked his way up to the General Manager position by remaining true to his core belief that the customer always comes first. The concept of customer service and satisfaction is the primary philosophy that is ingrained in all of the Fritts Ford employees from the newest hire to the top management team.
Ford Motor Company developed the Blue Oval Certification Process in 2000 that required dealers to meet strict standards of customer service and customer satisfaction as well as mandating that our facility be maintained to meet customer standards of excellence. Fritts Ford has been Blue Oval Certified every year with flying colors.
Fritts Ford’s fixed operations team recognized when the economy changed directions that the “business as usual” model would not sustain business growth. The business model that made us successful in the past would not carry us forward, or would it? Management and staff meetings had a common thread…….we need to do something different, or did we? Maybe just getting back to basics and doing it better than everyone else would send a clear message to our existing customers and they in turn would refer new customers to Fritts Ford. Most businesses are looking at cutting expenses to survive in a down market. Why not come up with ideas that promote business and bring in more revenue? Keep jobs and improve morale as well as the local tax base right? Those are buzzwords we see daily in every form of media and they are buzzwords we take seriously at Fritts Ford..

Fritts Ford is extremely thankful that we have been able to maintain a level of business that allows us to give back to our community. Rick and Marie Fritts were the founders 32 years ago of the Riverside Law Enforcement Appreciation Committee that honors our local law enforcement officers annually. Rick and Marie were also the founders of The Riverside Against Drugs Fundraiser that supports both Riverside and Alvord Unified School Districts. The RAD Fundraiser just celebrated its 24th year raising over $50,000 for our schools to fight drug, alcohol, and tobacco abuse. Fritts Ford sponsors many local school sports teams as well as adopting Hawthorne Elementary School every Christmas by taking Santa and a toy for every child at the school. Mrs. Fritts also loves animals and supports the Riverside Humane Society and she has donated 8 K-9 dogs to our local Sheriff and Police Departments.
